Replacing Destroyed Art Supplies

Hiya Folks,

I'm KC Hoye.  You might remember be from such projects as The Boston Local Music Scene, UNregular Radio and Full Scene Ahead.  

I recently moved to New Orleans from Boston and in the process, the items I shipped to myself down South were stolen or destroyed in transit.   After a final count, I'd under estimated what I'd shipped to myself.  I'm out about $1,100 dollars in art supplies, kitchenware, currated beading supply, and work clothes.   Not to mention the fragile precious memories that can't be replaced.  Among the lost; my dead Grandmother's jewelry, and fifteen years of art and poetry. 

I'll miss my French Oven and big ol' knife, but to be completely frank, I'm devastated over the loss of supply.  Moving is traumatic, and I had hoped to relieve some of that stress  by arting the panic away.   There have been suggestions to set up a wedding registry, listing the supplies and having folks order for me.  However, I'm a little leery of having folks ship anything down, given my recent experience with the postal service. 

So I'm reaching out to you, my friends to help me recover from this (what feels to be) catastrophic event.
