Replacement mission vehicle in Tanzania

Alan and Lynda Stephenson are co-founders/directors of the Joshua Foundation and have been based in Tanzania for over 31 years doing a fantastic job. The Joshua Foundation in East Africa trains leaders, teachers and children from impoverished backgrounds and helps needy communities.  Recently they had to sell their 4WD truck to cover heavy school-related costs, leaving them without wheels - in Africa!

Alan wrote to us a short time ago saying:

A few weeks ago the Joshua Foundation incurred some hefty, unexpected heavy school-related costs. The urgency of these meant we had to sell our vehicle, a manual Ford utility, to cover these costs. This is a first as we’ve not had to do anything like this before in our 31 years of being in Africa! Of course having no vehicle in Africa is not the ideal situation where mission and regional development is concerned!

Would you like to help? We’re trying to raise an initial minimum of US$10,000 for a basic, smaller 4WD used vehicle until we can upgrade later.

Any contribution is genuinely appreciated.  Thanks too for the chance to present this, whatever the result.
