Replacement of Damaged Garden
Donation protected
As most of you are aware over the weekend the field next to school was used for travelers to take residence. They gained entrance in to school grounds by forcing the metal fence open. Unfortunately for us, KS1 area and garden has been damaged. We the school and PTA have put an appeal out for donated items, please see list below. We have also set up this page in case anyone would like to financially donate so that we can purchase the much needed items.
Statement from school.
Thank you for the kind offers of help to clean up. Fortunately Wigan Council are cleaning the mess left behind due to the nature of it, but we will have to re-build the Reception Class garden due to vandalism.
If you would like to help, we would be very grateful for donations of the following:
Buckets and spades for the sandpit
Cars and diggers for the sandpit
Kitchen utensils and pans for the mud kitchen
Plants, seeds and bulbs
Lots of the garden spaces will need digging and planting so once the clean up has happened you are welcome to help with that too.
Thank you for your continued support and understanding.
