REPLACE YOUTH VAN STOLEN FROM YOUTH CENTER

On January 24th , 2019 Dance South Community Arts Center Youth van was stolen off of their property. The center is located on Two Notch Rd. In Columbia SC. and has been at this location for 3 years. The director Joy Ashford is hurt and still in disbelief that someone would steal their van. The thieves did not only steal from her but also the 100+ children that attend DSCAC. The van is used to pick kids up from school during the school year, also used for travel for their dance company, and also during the summer for summer camp. The Summer Camp fills up with 40+ kids and takes those who attend on at least 2 field trips a week, making sure the kids have a great , adventurous and educational summer.  Without their van none of those things can happen. With summer camp quickly approaching the new van is PERTINENT! We are starting a GoFundMe  to raise money to give back to the establishment for a new van. The van that was stolen was woth about $16,000 but I'm sure anything that can be given will be appreciated. Thank you all in advance,  God Bless
