Help Anders Osborne Replace Stolen Guitars

On August 9th, after performing in San Rafael, California, Anders Osborne had three guitars stolen from his touring van. These instruments have been with him for many years and are essential to his professional career:

·     a 1968 Fender Stratocaster nicknamed “Blackie”

·     a 1974 wine-red Gibson Les Paul Custom dubbed “Wino” that is also outfitted with a whammy bar

·     a 2017 Delaney Les Paul, “Dumaine,”customized with mahogany and cypress wood and copper fittings from his New Orleans home

A tax-deductible donation to help Anders replace these guitars can be made here.

Friends Of Bayou St. John is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization that promotes stewardship, cultural appreciation, responsible recreation and initiatives that support a clean, healthy Bayou St. John that is accessible to all.

Anders Osborne has given Friends of Bayou St. John and the neighborhood so much, including multiple performances at the Mid-City Bayou Boogaloo and his work on the Send Me A Friend program for assisting sober musicians. This is a way of giving back and ensuring he can continue to spread Louisiana roots music to the world, please donate today!
