Repair Vandalized Reni Mart
Donation protected
Around 5am last Thurs morning the front door window of the Reni-Mart was smashed. I spoke w/ Meaze (the new owner of the shop) abt this and she said it was going to cost her $500 out of pocket, as her insurance deductible was too high to cover it. If you've ever visited the Reni-Mart, you know of Meaze's level of kindness towards everybody. She's always looking to go the extra mile to make sure the store has what we need and always has kind words and questions abt how we are doing. I could tell this act of vandalism had really hurt her. Convenience store owners work on very low margins as it is and I can only imagine how bad this could be affecting her bottom line. Living in the Renaissance, its such a blessing to have the Reni-Mart back open (we all remember the long 8 months when it was shut down).
If you can help share this with everyone in the Renaissance that would be great! Even if everybody only donated $5 it would help her business-wise and also let her know that we really appreciate not only the convenience of her store but her presence in our day to day lives.
Thanks!
