Renkum OBRAS painting residency
How crowd sourcing works: If you donate a small amount, say the cost of a cup ofcoffee, then that multiplied by the number of facebook friends, gets you to your goal quickly. Don't feel blocked from donating because you think you need to kick in a lot. anything that moves "the needle" is good.
There are "perks" in ther form of artworks for larger donations. Here is my story:
I am a painter who has recently been awarded a painting residency at Renkum Netherlands for August 2017. I estimate my expenses to be around $2000. I will benefit greatly from the uninterrupted painting time but also the citizens of Renkum who will see my work and hear my lecture. In addition, upon my return I will have two exhibits (Sept-Oct) in Eugene, Oregon where I live & I will give several art talks about my stay in Renkum. The funds will cover air tickets, room & board, utilities, transportation, & art supplies. Support will mean a lot because otherwise I must dig into my limited savings account. I will be very greatful for any support I can get from anyone, especially art lovers, fellow artists, art collectors, appreciators, etc. I am really hoping that somehow I can raise the funds needed for this very promising residency.
Even though my residency ends August 30th, you can keep donating because I stiil need to cover the cost of shipping artwork back, framing, etc.. and anything will help in this regard, post-residency.
Thansk for your support!!
