For over 48 years, Casa la Providencia has been offering services as a residential therapeutic community helping thousands of women throughout Puerto Rico with dependence on controlled substances, such as drugs and alcohol, as well as with various social problems derived from gender violence. The Center, which can attend 20 to 25 participants at a time, is located on 200 Norzagaray Street on the corner with San Justo Street in Old San Juan, just in front of La Perla. The program is carried out by the Oblate Sisters of the Most Holy Redeemer and its Executive Director, Sister Adela Dominguez. The home endeavors to continue offering its services without interuption, reason for which we request your help. We need to raise funds to cover the costs for direct services such as: Psychological, Psychiatric, Family Counseling, and educational and vocational services. These services are provided daily to our participants and their families. Funds also cover maintenance of our infrastructure and equipment costs. We help an average of 1,100 persons annually; most of these are women with limited resources, who are addicted and, at the same time, suffer of both physical and sexual abuse. They are currently in process of rehabilitation, and our goal is to integrate them into society as productive and successful women.

¡DONA HOY! #yoapoyolacasa #renaceralavida
