Remembering Steven McElrea

Steven will be forever remembered as a uniquely talented and passionate individual who gave his all whether it be with his family (he is survived by his wife and two young children, a boy and a girl), his work and his friends. During his tenure at Scalar, he was always conscientious about his work and strived to make a difference with all that his hands touched; beyond being the technical lead on numerous Cyber Security engagements, he offered time and time again to assist and mentor team members, regularly and freely shared his wealth and breadth of knowledge freely and volunteered for tasks outside of his normal responsibilities. His friendship, quirky sense of humour, compassion for others, politeness, and desire to do the right thing will be sorely missed and fondly remembered.

We are doing this fundraiser to assist Steven's family during this terribly difficult time. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
