The Project- Capture the stories in a Documentary
The building that housed the Drumstick was torn down in 1987 to make room for a fast food restaurant. Tim Lohmeier, the man behind the magic, died in 1998. Very little remains of the club with the exception of a few photos, home videos and a lot of memories. Memories have been recorded and are ready for a feature documentary presentation.

The 2nd Annual I LOVE the Drumstick Gala is scheduled for October 12th at Lee's Chicken Restaurant, Lincoln NE. 7pm. We are ready for post production. All that’s lacking is the funding, that’s where you come in!

Thank you for all your support and generosity since 2017. We used the money wisely. Can you make your first contribution? Can you give again? Can you invite your friends to give? We need to get to $35,000 and get "Remember the Drumstick" ready for movie screens everywhere! I have until the end of 2019 to finish the project in time for the 2020 Film Festival season. The Drumstick meant a lot to our community and I know with community support, we'll finish 'er up!
