Saint Bonaventure Parish is a church like no other.  We are mission church dedicated to embracing all through servant leadership.

We Need Your Help to Relocate and there has never been a better time with the resources we have already been able to gather.  Additionally we do not own our current building amdaare required to move.  Please pray and see it in your Hearts to Help us over the finish line to a new Home where we can continue to Serve Our Community!

Below you will find a synopsis of our business plan.

Saint Bonaventure Parish is a fully established and respected 501c3 tax exempt non-profit church.  Our church, unlike its’ predecessor is non-profit and because it is not a “for profit business” all donations go exactly where they are intended without waste.  Reduced expenses and increased revenue from donations as well as services and marketing by 25% have led to greater savings on the part of the parish community.  Increased annual mass attendance, simplified scheduling of sacraments as well as re-purposing of consumables have created less wastes and greater savings to include nearly a savings growth of $900-$1,500 per month in the first 6 months after rebranding to saint Bonaventure Parish.  We are 100% maintained by unpaid volunteers including clergy.  The church is able to be better stewards of the parish resources leading to additional savings but specifically a permanent savings of $1,000 monthly after relocation.

The best possible estimated savings in the first year prior to relocation was $12,000 for excess above operations and an additional building fund valued at approximately $12,000 to be used only for the purposes of paying down a business loan.  The forecast savings after one year at the proposed new location(s) in additional to current savings as well as investment account will total over $40,000.

The church under our predecessor which is not affiliated with Saint Bonaventure Parish based its’ collections goal as an example at $4,000 monthly and brought in between $1,500-$2,500 but failed to create any annual savings due to moderate months.  Saint Bonaventure in its’ very first year set a modest goal of $2,800 monthly and brought in $2,200-$4,500 only missing our goal by 1 month in the first 15 months of operations.  This is due to reduced wastes, volunteer commitment, repurposing, efficiency maintenance and greater public outreach.

Saint Bonaventure through additional commitments has been approved via personal financing from members for a $700,000 loan.  This financing is approved for up to 90days and the church has a remaining term possibility at our current home location for a likely maximum of 90days.  One location has all of the resources that will meet our needs for current capacity and allow us to grow further as well as covers all costs with a slightly lower budget necessary to meet the minimum monthly collection goal of $2,200 and average of $2,800.  Additional commitments offset this mortgage value, however the sales price of this lot of nearly 4 acres with turn-key setup operations requires an additional $61,000 to cover the current owners’ minimum negotiated costs, materials as well as closing costs.  There are already 2 backup locations and others being negotiated.  The additional sites however also require similar funds to offset their requirements for both modular setup and site preparation totally between $59,000 minimum to up to $100,000.  The church overall has a proven track record, current collections, savings and operations funds in additional to current loan financing approval.

We are asking you to commit to helping us over the finish line.  Our Church needs your help.  There has never been a better opportunity for us to blossom nor need to do so in these next 2-3 months.  I am asking for everyone reading this and all of our dearest and most loved friends, family, neighbors, fellow Christians and humanitarians to help us Relocate Saint Bonaventure Parish so that we can continue and extensively commit to our community in Summerville, SC.  We Love You & We Need Your Support.  The Gospel calls us to share the gifts given by God for the growth of His Church and for the Love of Our Neighbors.  Saint Francis calls us to preach the Gospel, but only sometimes with words.  This is your opportunity, this is our opportunity.  One such as this is rarely so perfectly well-aligned.  Please use what God has provided you so that we can do the same.

Below is an example floor plan- there are 2-3 others depending on final planning - Price:$74,178 - Square Feet: 4,121 sq ft - Seats: max 192  -Office/Class/Sacristy -total rooms 5

Brothers and sisters for those of you reading this my family and I have contributed again today in an effort to show our dedication to the future of this church I pray that all friends family and acquaintances of hours all embraced as a single Body of Christ will do the same.
Our Lord calls us to go beyond and I can promise for me and my family we will do just that but I cannot do it alone and so I pray that you will consider doing all that is possible and for those who cannot give that does not mean that the work is done because you have many gifts including your ability to reach others for the help that we need in building up Christs Church the namely prayer. Reaching others and prayer are no small things and they should be the first and last things we always do.
Again this is my Ardent plea that you will use my example and example of others to follow Christ and to help us because there is a great need and I cannot stress enough, the time is running out.
Please Contribute what you can.

Dear Christian Brothers & Sisters, Be A Servant. As Christians, that no matter what capacity we occupy or position we hold, we are servants first. We hold the dual role of ambassadors…and servants.

In fact, service is our gift to this world. Let’s be honest, there are many wants in the world and lots of times it's easier to let someone else hold the door open, but it's all of our call to serve.

Just as Jesus served us, we serve him by serving others. Husbands serve wives and vice versa. Loving parents even find ways to serve their children. Good managers serve their subordinates, which makes better employees. We can serve friends and incorrigible family members—especially them. Find ways. That’s our duty. This is a need that requires a lot of work, and our church needs your help to continue our diligent sacrificial ministry.

Serving is sacrificial at its core.
It seeks to bring healing and enlightenment to a broken world. Christians should be the best servants. Many times they are. Countless hospitals, relief efforts, literacy programs, and recovery programs have historically been initiated and sustained by Christians serving. There is always room for improvement and reflection. There is never a time for boasting. Our Parish community humbly asks for this same consideration.

Simply put, Service must be at the very center of your faith. Otherwise it is hollow and it has no substance. As James the brother of Jesus said, “Faith without works is dead.” (James 2:26)
Be sacrificial. Be a servant. Please help Us to build a future that is humble and pure.

We have had a good start and I pray we continue this progress.
Please continue to share, continue to pray for us and consider this small sacrifice for the servant leadership of Saint Bonaventure Parish.

For those reading this. I cannot stress enough the urgency in terms of the short time frame we are working. There is so much possible with everyone helping out just a little but this is the mission Saint Bonaventure Parish and its' predecessors was founded on. Please see your way to support this vision and the mission of Saint Bonaventure who himself led the way to reconciling both the Franciscan Order and the entire Apostolic Church.
