As a member of the Newgate Madera/Newgate Sandy Shores Community I am sure that you have been following the events of the evacuation order due to the threat of fire. Many of you have been asking via email, text or Facebook what you can do to help out. There is currently a team of 10 people protecting the grounds with no food or supplies readily available to them. Individuals from the area have been kind enough to have gotten them through up until now with meals supplies and drinks. Many offers have come in via Facebook and email offering to provide food and meals and we would love to take you up on your offer to help out in any way you can. As most of you are from outside the area and unable to provide meals and/and or donate funds to help with the up keep of the machinery costs they have been running around the clock, electrolytes to keep the crew running, and compensation to those those who have volunteered countless hours to keep our piece of paradise intact. For those who want to help we have set up this gofundme account and we will shop, prepare, and deliver the meals and supplies on your behalf.
