Refugee Aid Serbia: Mobilising Communities, Making the Difference

Who we are
Refugee Aid Serbia began as a collaboration of concerned citizens, non-governmental organizations, charities, and local businesses carrying out essential aid delivery throughout Serbia in August 2015. Over the couple of years we have delivered clothing, warm meals, fruit, water, hygiene items and other essential items to the hundreds of thousands of asylum seekers, migrants and refugees transiting Serbia.
Since then we have witnessed the official closure of the Balkan route, despite which there are an estimated hundreds irregular arrivals daily, many of whom stop off in Belgrade city-centre. Here, we meet some of their most basic needs and offer them a moment of respite.
However the increasing number of migrants arriving in Belgrade has resulted in our inability to feed and clothe every family and individual who come to our distribution. So today we have launched our Crowdfunder appeal to better meet their needs.
Our appeal
We are a humanitarian organisation who rely on the support of individuals. Therefore we need your help to raise funds for the following:
Program Service Expenses – These are costs related to providing the programs and services in accordance with our defined mission. These can include but not limited to donations, emergency accommodation and food
Operational Expenses – These are costs related to administering the day-to-day activities of the RAS, not limited to but includes, general legal services, accounting, insurance, office management, auditing, human resources, and other centralized services.

These funds are being raised by Petar Bojović who is the volunteer coordinator at RAS and who is responsible for the delivery of funds to Refugee Aid Serbia via bank transfers.
