Recovery from Hate Crime

I am an American woman living in the UK. Six weeks ago, a man heard my accent and began yelling at me for being an immigrant in "his" town. It soon escalated into violence: he and two others attacked me. I still can't believe this happened. 

Several of my injuries haven't healed, including ones to my hands sustained while trying to protect my face.  As a result I have been unable to work and risk losing my job.

The bills are piling up and even though I want to work I can't. All I am asking for are some of the wages I've lost- just to keep me going while I recover from this horrendous crime. I've attached copies of my sick notes and hospital referrals.
