Rebuilding the Manning Music Studio

Dear Manning Music Community,

Since the fire, Chad and Catherine have used this time to make improvements to the studio, transforming the space into an even more exciting place to learn and play music together.   These improvements are not covered by the insurance but Chad and Catherine believe the benefits of the upgrades are well worth the costs they are personally paying for.  I shared with Chad and Catherine that many of us in the community would love to help in anyway we can, as the Manning Music Studio enriches our lives in so many ways.  After some thought, they allowed me to start a GoFundMe campaign on their behalf.


Improvements include upgraded soundproofing, adding a wall and a door to the upstairs loft for privacy, as well as an added door to the kitchen enabling it to be better used as a private teaching room.  They are also buying new student and teacher chairs, as well as installing bamboo floors and an 8 ft bar table / work station with bar stools in the common area for the convenience of waiting parents and others to use for laptop or other work.  In addition they are fixing leaky windows and repairing the newly discovered dry rot damage.  

The total personal costs amount to $20,000.  Any amount we can raise as a community would be of great help to Chad and Catherine.  I invite you to donate any amount that is comfortable in support of the amazing Manning Music Studio. How fortunate we are to be part of this unique community!
