All across Peru, dozens of people have been killed and tens of thousands displaced after El Nino warmed the Pacific waters off the coast unleashing torrential downpours in recent weeks.
The flooding has forced people to walk across the country seaking help and shelter as many have lost their homes and families.
Currently 115,000 homes have been lost, and counting, the continuous flooding has destroyed more than 100 bridges in Peru’s worst floods in recent memory.
It is in these times that we all should come together to help this country and its citizens rebuild.
With the help of #PamparomasGrowingTogether and your donations, we hope to use the money raised to buy supplies to help rebuild homes, especifically in the northern mountain region of Peru, where they are the poorest and most affected. We will also supply food, tents, clothes, and medicine.
