Who are we?
The Global Music Therapy Project is in the process of becoming an official non-profit. It was co-founded by Angie Kopshy & Mike Ricucci.
Angie Kopshy is a board-certified music therapist and director of Music Therapy Services of Portland. Michael Ricucci is the founder and director of Terra Rising Films. You can learn more about us here.
Why are we raising money?
The Global Music Therapy Project met Carlos while working and filming in Ecuador. Carlos was an active participant in the 3-day training Angie facilitated at Universidad Católica de Santiago de Guayaquil. His enthusiasm and willingness to share his own experiences with music captured our heart.
How will the money be used?
Carlos lives in Gauayaquil, Ecuador with his mother, Judith Coba. Their home was destroyed by the earthquake on April 16, 2016. This money will pay for the supplies and builders. Carlos has already used his own resources to start the rebuild and needs more money as soon as possible. All of the funds received through this campaign will go directly to Carlos.
