Rebuild the Tree of Transformation

Hello Friends. Thank you for your interest in rebuilding the Tree of Transformation. Sometime on the night of July 24th, 2018 an individual piled trash around our interactive sculpture and set it a blaze .  We are not able to comment on the motives of this individual, and we hope they find what they are looking for.  This is the third vandalism the tree has suffered since it's installation in Civic Center Park in Denver, CO and it is by far the worst. The original keys were broken and stolen only a few months ago and they were replaced by light up acrylic versions which were individually unique, had to be made by hand and had to be test fitted one by one. 

The piano and the the electronics are a complete loss and will have to be rebuilt from scratch.  The piano was well over a hundred years old, a true antique, and the amount of hours in this project are too many to count. A new piano will be sourced, retrofitted with a new controller and completely re-wired.

The piece was not insured and it looks like crowd funding is our only chance of getting the piece back together. The arson has gathered quite a bit of attention on social media and in the traditional media and there has been an outpouring of support which mean an incredible amount to us! We are great-full for any help you are willing to offer and hope you will be able to make it to the opening when the Tree of Transformation is born again!
