Rebuild Rhinoceropolis and Glob

Donation protected
On the afternoon of December 8th 2016, residents of Rhinoceropolis and Glob were evicted and displaced by order of the Denver Fire Department.

These spaces stood strong for over 11 years, served as live/work spaces for innovative and disciplined artists, and changed thousands of peoples’ lives in their years of operation.

What’s at stake here isn’t just the living quarters of 11 amazing individuals who managed to survive for years in an increasingly developing neighborhood, or the opportunity for artists to create and perform in a unique space.

What’s at stake is the opportunity for artists to remain connected worldwide and spread ideas while maintaining a distance from institutional means such as publicists, managers, marketers etc. and instead simply connect with each other one-on-one, and share experiences that transcend the relationship between organizations and regular people.

It is important for us now more than ever to show support for marginalized communities that do so much for personal and artistic growth so that anybody with a great idea and the passion the share it with the world can have the means available to do so against increasingly more difficult times.

Please donate what you can in order to help us get the space back.

Hello, my name is Peniel I live in denver. I'm raising funds to bring back Rhino/Glob. I'm working directly with my good friend John Gross. He is the lease holder of Rhino, he will work together with the landland to bring the building up to code. The money used will be used to pay for power, water and rent as the former tenants have all vacated and since no shows can be booked to pay for the space. The remainder will go to paying an architect, contractors, and permits needed to reopen. The money will be given to John Gross and he will work with John Golter the lease holder of Glob to make sure all repairs are done.
