The Fire
My dear friend Fiona and her family have lost their home, business and all of their belongings in a bush fire in central Portugal. They had to leave the property very quickly and therefore were unable to take much with them except a change of clothes and a laptop.

We are so happy that they are safe but the fire swept through the property and thier whole home has been engulfed and burnt.

What They Lost
For 9 years Fiona and family have worked hard to set up an off grid eco friendly Yoga Holiday Retreat in a beautiful peaceful valley. Guests stay in handmade yurts, do yoga practice and eat fresh food from the extensive garden.
Garden and Solar Power
The fire has taken 3 yurts, fully set up kitchens, yoga deck, family home and a half bulit house. All the tools and supplies needed to run the retreats as well as water tanks have been ruined. Fiona's 3 daughters have lost everything they own.
