Evelyn Patricia Terry now after a year of discovering how this GoFundMe process can be of service to her and other artists to distribute her artwork, needs more contributors to step forward and support her mission to replace the badly leaking roof and deteriorating porches of the Terry McCormick Contemporary Fine and Folk Art Gallery (TMC Gallery). Thank you in advance for considering Evelyn’s Rebirthing 53206 campaign.

Keep in mind that your art purchases can be gifted to a non-profit organization for market value as a tax-deductible contribution. Evelyn plans to keep her artwork moving into private, public and corporate collections and strongly encourages you to select her artwork or the work of other gallery artists to start or expand your collection. Also you may book a tour at the Cayenne level (or above levels) of up to 20 people in exchange for your contribution.

Evelyn's Rebirthing 53206 campaign goals also include the following:

1. Protecting her ethnically, thematically and media diverse art collection
2. Correcting and preventing further visible or invisible damage to ceilings and both 1st and 2nd-floor gallery walls
3. Maintaining a unique ZIP code 54206 gallery space, nestled in the heart of the Lindsay Heights neighborhood since 2009
4. Joining with Walnut Way Conservation Corps., Alice's Garden, the Fondy Farmer's Food Market, Johnson Park, Running Rebels, Juice Kitchen, The Tandem and many newly-built  homes and organizations that create a strong community in or bordering the 53206 ZIP code
5. Continued honoring  and sharing long after the 2009 passing of folk artist, George Ray McCormick Sr.'s, his  unique accomplishments and legacy as a 53206 resident
6.  Attracting positive local and national media attention to expand and then replaces the one - dimensional  53206 ZIP code's challenged reputation
7. Attracting more tour groups that may also experience the TMC Gallery space as an art utopia, a beacon of hope and a love story

About Evelyn Patricia Terry
1. Evelyn, now 72, first founded the gallery in her home to celebrate the life and creative output of her partner, folk-artist George Ray McCormick, Sr., following his sudden  2009 passing
2.  After an arsonist set it on fire during a burglary, Evelyn moved back to her home, which she had been away from for several years, during its slow rehab.
 3. A passionate art collector, writer, lecturer, exhibition curator, mentor and radiant health advocate, Evelyn boasts more than 400 collectors of her own artwork noted on her website, evelynpatriciaterry.com.
4. International private and public patrons, national universities and corporations, plus regional museums, comprise her list
5. With a 50-year art career, Evelyn graciously shares her vast art and radiant health experiences with tour groups of visiting convention goers, art enthusiasts, neighborhood residents, k – 12 and university students

Tenaciously, Evelyn often meets adversity by rearranging her thoughts, for example in starting the gallery after many burglaries she thought, "If most of my home items were stolen, this perfect sign makes it the right time to create a gallery for exhibition my own artwork, George's artwork, my art collection and the artwork of my supportive colleagues and friends." One of over 200 artworks in her collection, Dr. Bob’s front door sign, “Be Nice or Leave,” now greets all and establishes the gallery’s nurturing spirit.

Your contribution to Evelyn's roof replacement supports the acquisition of gallery artwork and supports the gallery’s spiritual wellbeing and optimum physical stability. It also supports Evelyn's continued art creation during her golden years and also benefits a special non-profit organization, if donated as a  tax write-off for the donor.
