Get Rebecca to the Dem Convention!

I have been selected as a delegate for Florida's CD11 to represent Bernie Sanders.
Since Bernie announced last year, I have been hard at work doing anything and everything I possible can to help get him elected. From phone banking to canvassing to vote registration drives, I hit the ground running when I heard he was running.
I've never been much into politics, but as I began to realize how the things I was complaining about were all related to what was going on in the government, I began to take interest. Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders were the only two that really struck me as human and willing to help those in need. When I heard he was going to run, I definitely did a giant happy dance.
From that point forward, it was tons or organzing and planning. Not knowing much about the government, I found out about being a delegate and knew I just had to go and be there to see the history that is going to occur there. While there are hundreds of delegates going, my attendance means that young people are getting invovled and caring about their community. It is showing how someone who could care less about the government has now gone full force into ensuring this political revolution happens.
That is why I hve joined DSA (Democratic Socialists of America) and continue to help local congressional candidates get into office. It is more important than ever to me and the world to see real change happen and because of Bernie I have never been more motivated to make it happen!
However, from the hotel costs to getting all the way from Florida to Phildelphia, the costs add up quickly. Since the campaign is requiring us to stay in the mandated hotel, my costs have jumped exorbitantly. With this being said, any and all help you can provide is greatly appreciated.

After many conversations and factual information being provided, he made the decision to vote for Bernie Sanders in the FL Primary. He made me a very proud daughter that day!
