Hello,
We are the Zephnimbus Team.
We are raising support in order to fund a trip to a national competition in Washington, D.C., USA. The team has just recently won a state Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) competition in Florida. We had to come up with a solution to an engineering problem in the submission of a engineering notebook.
The challenge is called the Real World Design Challenge and it allows high school students to work on real-world engineering challenges in a team environment.
We need your help in order to raise money to fund a portion of our trip to the international competition.
Here are some notable accolades from the challenge and the Zephnimbus Team:
1. Eight consecutive state championships in STEM
2. Two National Championships in STEM
3.Over 600,000.00 in scholarship money awarded
4. Students have been accepted into Universities such as: Harvard, MIT, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy, etc.
5. National Merit Awards: Against All Odds and Effective use of Mentors
6. International Merit Award: Innovation/Design
7. Program has produced the Only Aircraft Design that was built and flown in Washington DC.
8. First and only program to have led a U.S. Territory to a National Championship in core Academics
9.Program received a senate resolution for winning two National championships within a three year period.
10. Program received a special award form the Board of Education
11.Students studying in the fields of: Engineers, Medicine, Pilots, Bioengineers, Business, Marketing, etc.
12. Students have been accepted in (Google Internship Programs)
13. Three Gate Millennium Awardees
