Readings For Relief (help save bush fire animals)

Australia is world renown for its unique wildlife: from its kangaroos, koalas, and wombats, to its emus, echidnas and platypus. Some of our native animals are cute and fluffy, like our possums, numbats and quolls, while others - like our snakes, crocodiles and spiders aren’t so cuddly. From our cheeky cockatoos, galahs and laughing kookaburras to our majestic black swans, colourful lorikeets, wedge tailed eagles and owls, Australia’s wildlife is as beautiful as it is diverse. We are truly blessed, and we - as Australians - aren’t afraid to admit it.
But, with the catastrophic bushfires sweeping our beautiful country aside in its wake, many of us feel powerless to protect our beloved animals, birds, reptiles and insects from its deadly reach.
With approximately half a billion animals already lost to the flames to date, the only thing we can do is offer support, safe refuge and healing to the animals that have miraculously survived what many have described as an ‘apocalyptic inferno’.
So, lets to join forces to spread awareness, raise funds and help the animals by doing what we do best - connecting as a people.

We have decided to donate 100% of the funds raised by your generous donations received during the READINGS FOR RELIEF WEBINAR to the ‘Friends of the Koalas Inc’, a charitable organisation based in Lismore, NSW , Australia; the same shire where Scott and his family call home.
We plan to transfer the funds raised directly into their account.
Please know that the driving force behind our decision to support this organisation is that, unlike other koala / wildlife hospitals, the Friends of the Koalas Inc receive no government funding, despite taking in up to three times as many koalas annually as the other organisations.
A charity run by volunteers is a cause worthy of our support, and we trust that you’ll agree with our decision.
