Save these puppies' lives

REACH Rescue never shies away from the tough saves, and a new challenge just arrived: four puppies tested positive for Parvo and desperately need your help!

These four pups began their long journey in Kentucky, where their mama lives as an outdoor pet, chained in the yard and birthed an unplanned litter of puppies.


Instead of dumping the unwanted pups at a shelter, the owner agreed to send these four up north for a chance at rescue.  When their original rescue plans fell through, REACH Rescue stepped in and sent a transport to bring them to safety.

Little did we know the pups were already victim to a much graver threat - the parvovirus.


During the overnight journey north, our transport team noticed one of the puppies exhibiting sluggish behavior and refusing to eat.  It wasn't long before all four started showing similar symptoms

Our partner veterinarian confirmed the horrible truth, that all four babies will need 24-hour veterinary care if they are to have a chance at surviving the sickness.



Because parvovirus is highly contagious, infected dogs need isolation in addition to costly veterinary care.  Many shelters and kennels consider this diagnosis a death sentence, but REACH Rescue is committed to providing these four pups with every chance at a happy, healthy future.

All four are currently under the care of the incredible doctors at Wonder Lake Veterinary Clinic, with foster families waiting for them after the initial treatment phase.
