REACHING RECORDS TURNS 25 : The Gospel Album 

The record company that has brought you “Kids Love Jesus Too", “A Woman’s Journey" and the IMA Nominated "John Redmon & Friends : Faith Love and Unity, Vol. 1", Reaching Records celebrates its 25th Anniversary! To celebrate this significant milestone, we are producing and releasing seven (7) album projects this year. We are asking for your prayers and financial support for each record.

The first album of the series to be released is Reaching Records Silver Anniversary Edition : Gospel Album. 50% of album sales for this gospel record will benefit The American Red Cross for the tornado victims in Lee County, Alabama.

WHAT IS REACHING RECORDS?

Reaching Records LLC  is a for-profit Christian, independent record company based in Colorado Springs, CO that produces inspirational music projects to benefit both humanitarian and faith-based organizations.

Reaching Records was conceived June 1994 in Oakland, CA. Founder and President, John Redmon started this unique label in his grandmother's living room to “reach and touch hearts around the world”. He was 18 years old. Read John Redmon' s full story ...

A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT, JOHN REDMON


It’s our 25th year anniversary for Reaching Records. My spirit is overwhelmed with both gratitude and heaviness. Just hearing about the tornado devastation in Alabama breaks my heart. Hundreds have been left homeless due to the recent Alabama tornadoes that led to fatalities and numerous injuries. When I further read about Cora Jones and how she lost 10 family members in this storm, I was moved to do something for this traumatized community. However, my heart rejoiced when I saw that The American Red Cross was already on the scene. I knew they were the organization to work through and benefit from this gospel music project. 

WHY A GOSPEL ALBUM?

Proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ into all the world is imperative to Reaching Records. Mr. Redmon explains: “It's not just a suggestion or a nice thought, but it's a commandment that Christians share the gospel (good news) of Jesus Christ. We use Reaching Records as a vehicle to spread the word of God by selecting, producing and releasing songs, hymns and spiritual songs that prove that the word of God is true. I think it's just fitting to have the gospel album to be the series' forerunner.”

The Gospel Album boasts of 14 powerful gospel tracks from 14 independent and national recording artists:
BeBe & CeCe Winans, Ron McMillon, Anthony Whigham, Theresa Morton, Tina Lewis-Glenn, John Redmon, Committed, Full Assurance, Rodney Friend, The Jackson Family, Nicholas, Sallye Jones, Fresh Start Baptist Church Children's Choir. Also New Music from Dove Award Winner Babbie Mason!

WHY $10,000 FOR A GOSPEL ALBUM?

Several fees are associated with album production:

* Artist Fees
* Producer Fees
* Recording Studio Fees
* Master and Mechanical Licensing Fees
* Copyright Fees
* Mixing and Mastering Fees
* Graphic Design Fees
* Digital Transfer Fees
* Disc Manufacturing Fees
* Music Distribution Fees
* Website and Maintenance Fees
* Marketing and Promotion Fees

There will be 14 tracks on this project and it's estimated that each song will cost roughly $1,000 to produce. So the gospel record in actuality will cost between $10-14K. However, Reaching Records is not asking you to pay, but rather partner.

PARTNER WITH REACHING RECORDS

Every $1 you donate, Reaching Records will match 100% up to $10,000, giving the gospel project budget a grand total of $20,000 when the campaign goal is reached. 50% of proceeds from every gospel album sold will go to The American Red Cross.

Furthermore, when you donate $100 or more, you will be the first to receive a physical copy of the gospel album project when its released June 2019. And when you donate $1000 or more, you will receive all seven (7) CDs as they are released.
