Hi there! I am Sukhpreet Kaur, a 21 year old Malaysian with dreams that'll bring me across the globe. I play the Scottish Tenor Drum in a pipe band called Sri Dasmesh Pipe Band and based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Being a student from a middle-class family, financial constraints make it very difficult for me to pursue my goals. So here's my story :
This fund will benefit me in my efforts to play in the prestigious World Pipe Band Championships in Glasgow, Scotland this year. It has been a personal goal for me to play in Grade 1, the highest grade, which is no easy task. Being mostly self taught, in order for me to grow and improve in this field, I will need as much experience I can get. Hence why this year, I reached out to a Grade 3 Scottish band to play with this season, and also tutors that can point me in the right direction. The funds will be used to help me cover my accommodation and livelihood during my 10 week stay. I aim to fly out on the 20th of June, which is not so far away. The only thing stopping this from becoming a reality is financial constraints. Do know that this is my last resort as my efforts to find means that can sustain my stay independently has thus far resulted rather unsuccessfully. I hope with your help in this fund, I can make my aspirations possible.

Food = 980.00
Transportation = 700.00
Flight = 750.00
Others (Lessons)= 280.00
Total = 4,250.00(average)
The funds will be transferred to my aunt's account in the UK which will then be passed on to me.
