The Rockland County Jazz & Blues Society is a non-profit, 501c3, arts organization which promotes the heritage, performance, appreciation, and vitality of jazz, blues, and related music forms in Rockland County, NY, and surrounding regions. We’ve been presenting world-class jazz & blues concerts and educational events in intimate settings and affordable prices to audiences in Rockland County since 1985.

We have big plans for 2018 and need your support to make it happen! We intend to expand our geographical range to include Westchester and other areas in the lower Hudson Valley, thereby serving a larger and more diverse population. We also propose expanding the scope of musical styles presented to include all forms of improvised music, including Jazz, Blues, Rhythm & Blues, Hip-hop, World Music, and contemporary classical “New Music”. And of course we are committed to greatly expanding our educational programs, designed to inspire and educate the talented youth in our communities, so that the music will continue to flourish and be a vital and relevant cultural force in the region.
In order to accomplish our goals, we intend to embark on a major fund raising campaign starting NOW! We are committed to partner with local businesses, corporations, philanthropic foundations, arts' grant providers, other not-for-profit organizations, and individual donors to raise funds to support our mission’s financial needs and goals - but it all starts with individual members!
