Raza Grad @UCI

Raza Grad is a student-planned graduation ceremony for the for Chicanx/Latinx students on the UC Irvine campus. The students who plan this ceremony strive to achieve a more intimate, festive, and culturally inclusive ceremony that celebrates the accomplishments of the graduating seniors. In addition, Raza Grad is conducted in both English and Spanish and students are allowed the opportunity to say a few words to thank those that have helped them reach this amazing accomplishment. Overall, Raza Grad’s ultimate goal is to celebrate the achievements of the Latino Community at UC Irvine.

As graduation is fast approaching, we are now working hard to reach our funding goals. On behalf of the Raza Grad committee, Raza Grad participants, and the Latino community at UCI we thank you for all your help.
