Ray McKinnon as National Delegate

Hello Friends,

In mid-May I was honored to receive 53 percent of the vote from my fellow 12th District Democrats who are pledged to Senator Bernie Sanders. My wife, Kelly, said that she wishes she would have recorded the phone call that I made to her announcing the news; to say that I was excited would be a gross understatement! There were two other committed candidates who offered themselves to serve the District, too.

I need your help. Although there is no fee attend the DNC Convention in July, there are costs associated with being a delegate to the Convention. The most inexpensive Delegation package offered is $700, which covers my hotel stay (4 occupants), breakfast while there, ground transportation once on the ground in Philly, and other delegation events. That price does not include travel to Philly nor does it cover other meals while in Philly.

Friend, can you chip in $5, $25, $50, $100, $500 or more to help me to defray these costs?

Whether you are able to give little, much, or nothing at all I am grateful for your support. Please keep the entire delegation in your thoughts and prayers as we, both, raise funds and travel to represent our great state of North Carolina.
