My name is Helen Arnold. Iam raising money for my husband Walter (Ray Neal) Arnold to help with the financial burden of raising medical expences. We need the money ASAP.
On November 25, 2016 the day after Thanks Giving. I took my husband Ray to the Emergency Room for flu like symptoms. We were told that he was in Acute Renal Failure (Kidney Failure) and would require Emergency Dialysis that night. He was admitted to Piedmont Athens Regional immediately. After dialysis he returned to his room around 02:00 a.m. on Nov. 26,2017. The Nephrologist visited his room at 07:00 a.m. and we were told that his kidneys were failing and that his PSA was very elevated which indicated prostate cancer. He also told us the CT Scan showed that the cancer had spread to his bones. The Urologist was consulted and Ray was taken to surgery that morning to place stents in his kidneys and also do a biopsy of his prostate to confirm his diagnosis. With all this happening in less than 24hrs we were in an emotional whirl wind.
My husband (Ray) and I had been married less than 2 years when hearing this devastating news. We never lost hope or faith that God would help us get through this life trial and tribulation. We asked friends and family not to approach us with sadness or doom, but to offer up prayer and continue to have faith that God will help us get through anything placed in our path.
Since being discharge from the hospital he has undergone multiple surgeries, dialysis, and chemotherapy. This has put a great financial strain on our family. With all of these efforts come a financial burden that no family should have to worry about while desperately trying to save the life of my husband. This has caused us to reach out to many to assist us in our endeavor, Please help by supporting us. We will be forever more graftful.
