Rasmussen family support

Hello. My name is Alyssa Rasmussen, daughter of Karen Rasmussen. And as most of you have heard, my mother Karen has been in the hospital for roughly a week now, been unresponsive for 4 days now. She got admitted into the hospital after being taken to her doctor appointment. They did ultrasounds and all different sorts of tests. She's got jaundice, ammonia in her blood, and her liver is shred. They transported her from St. Vincent's to OHSU two days ago. They're trying to determine whether her issue is autoimmune or not, before they even begin thinking about doing a transplant. But if they can do a transplant, they need her to be in a state where she can withstand the surgery. They're doing all they can but there's a possibility she may not make it. And even if she does, we're headed for a very big financial storm. With the money we have, without my mom's paycheck, we have just barely enough to pay the mortgage. 

So family, friends, kind strangers, if you have any money at all you're willing to spare, we would very much appreciate any help we can get. If not, we understand. Any help you can provide would be such a blessing to my mother, and our family as we go through this unbelievably difficult time. Thank you.
