Sara's CIDP-Pulmonary Embolism Fight

I'm a 26 year old young vibrant woman who has a great outlook and many dreams in life and so much I want to accomplish. In April of this year I was diagnosed with a rare neurological disorder called CIDP " chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy" it has been a very painful disease I get extreme pain in my limbs and joints along with numbness and tingling. If left untreated the disease can cause paralysis. I had a procedure done and had a PICC line placed to receive plasma infusions but unfortunately I ended up with two blood clots in my chest from the PICC line and ended up having surgery and having a portacath placed in my left chest to recieve my infusions. I made it through a few treatments but, the side effects have made me very sick and I have ended up hospitalized every time and then I end up missing work at a job I love. So two weeks ago I had to stop the plasma infusions and I had surgery again and had an ashcatheter placed in my right chest. I just started a new treatment called plasmapheresis where they filter my blood out of my body taking my plasma out and giving me back my blood and a different blood product in its place. I have gone four times this week in the hospital already and I have to go again on Friday. I just got out of the hospital after being there for a week on Sunday. It's been a very hard exhausting road I'm doing my best to stay positive and get stronger so I can get back to work and live the life I dream of and hopefully not be sick anymore! My medical bills are insane even with insurance I'm not one to ask anyone for help I'm a very independent woman but I'm learning from my doctors it's ok to ask for help when you need it when your going through a difficult time. I also was diagnosed with a inoperable brain tumor and another rare neurological disorder a few years back and migraines that I have powered through like a champion and not let affect my every day life but this last diagnosis has really taken its toll on my body. Any little bit of help is appreciated more then I have enough words to thank anyone for. I hope they find a cure for this soon and I can live a full life with my family and friends.
