Hi, I'm Tanya, or you can call me Ranger Russell.

I have the opportunity to represent Australia in the 2017 World Championship games for gridiron in Canada.

This is the FIRST ever Australian women's gridiron team, and we will be competing against teams such as the USA, Sweden, Germany and Mexico.

I started gridiron back in 2015 for my local club, the Croydon Rangers, and have never looked back. This sport has drawn me in from the very beginning, with the competition, the people and the skill level that can be achieved by playing.

To get to The 2017 World Championship games I'm asking for your support. There isn't a lot of funding or backing for women in sport and that's where you come in.

All money raised will go towards helping me get to Canada and play, as well as the training beforehand. Money donations will be used to purchase the outback kit which includes vital items such as a helmet, uniforms and other equipment necessary to represent Australia. Donations will also go towards paying for the training camp, flights, accommodation and food while I'm over in Canada competing. Any contributions you can donate I am grateful for, and every dollar helps.
