Support for Ramon Gonzalez

On Saturday, June 4th, my brother Ramon was involved in a horrific car accident. He was on his way to work, when he lost control of his car. He was able to escape the burning car with the help of a police officer and bystanders, but not before suffering 2nd and 3rd degree burns on his face, hands, and legs. He is now being treated for his injuries at UC DAVIS’ burn center. There doctors were able to remove the dead flesh and place skin grafts to repair the damage. He will be hospitalized for the next month and will not be able to move for the next 2 weeks. After, he will need asistance until he is able to regain his strength in his legs.

As some of you may already know, my brother is the sweetest kid. The last thing in the world he would want is to worry anyone, especially our parents. He's a good son, brother, and an amazing uncle to his nephews and nieces. He’s just a big teddy bear. 


This campaign is set up to help with Ramon's medical expenses that are increasing daily. El sabado, 4 de junio, mi hermano Ramón estuvo involucrado en un terrible accidente automovilístico. Estaba de camino al trabajo, y perdió el control de su coche. Fue capaz de escapar del coche en llamas con la ayuda de un oficial de policía y transeúntes, pero no antes de sufrir quemaduras de segundo y tercer grado en su cara, manos y piernas. Ahora está siendo tratado por sus heridas en el centro de quemaduras de UC DAVIS. Allí los médicos fueron capaces de eliminar la carne muerta y los injertos de piel para reparar el daño. Él será hospitalizado por el próximo mes y no podrá moverse por las próximas 2 semanas. Después, necesitará ayuda hasta que pueda recuperar su fuerza en sus piernas.

Como algunos de ustedes ya saben, mi hermano es el niño más dulce. Lo último en el mundo que querría es preocupar a cualquiera, especialmente a nuestros padres. Es un buen hijo, hermano, y un tío increíble para sus sobrinos y sobrinas. Es sólo un gran oso de peluche.
