Rally for Dave
Donation protected
Hello and Thank you for visiting this site. For those of you who know Dave, know that he is a very humble & private person. He takes great pride in being the rock and provider of his family. He has recently been challenged by a new bump in the road.
This curve ball was thrown his way in December, when he was diagnosed with cancer. At that time, he bravely and quietly started his treatments in Houston, 250 miles away from their home. After months of treatment, which required long hospital stays, resulting in time away from the boys and work, he returned to Houston one last time, optimistic for the "All Clear."
Unfortunately, the scans came back showing the cancer was still present. As you can imagine, these results are not what they were expecting to hear. But Dave is a fighter and will do all that is needed to get the all clear.
There is a treatment plan in place that is mandatory for Dave to be in Houston for the full duration of Chemotherapy and Radiation for a total of 6 weeks. Following after with Lymph Node surgery.
They are looking into options for an extended stay hotel for him and Carrie. All the while, Carrie will need to travel back & forth on the weekends to Kingsville, 500 miles round-trip, to check in on the boys.
In order to help the Brumond family, we have decided to set up this account to relieve the financial burden they will soon be facing.
This is going to be a very trying time for the Brumond Family. All donations will help with time away from work for Dave and Carrie, as well as travel expenses. They are a strong family and will get through this, but we can help ease the burden with removing the worries and stress of financial obstacles. Thank you for your donation and support!
With love and gratitude!
