Raising funds for late mother's cremation

On January 30th at 12:27am, my mother, Sabine, passed away. She was a kind soul who always wanted what was best for those around her. This all came on us very suddenly when one night she was feeling ill. Within 24 hours, she was no longer with us, due to various complications. She had a major impact on me, my sister, and her grandchildren (my nephews). She helped shape us into open-minded and loving individuals and always taught us to see the good in others and do our best to better our own lives. She always said when she passed away, she wanted to be cremated. So that's what we're going to try to do for her. But the expenses are a lot more than we could ever imagine. That's where you guys come in. There's no way my sister and I can save up that sort of money, especially not on such short notice.
