Raise Funds for Jaden's Memorial Service in

My name is Tracee Adame and I was the mother of Jaden Adame, a child born with severe mental and physical disabilities.  He was born with Cerebral Palsy, a seizure disorder and developmental delays.  Unfortunately, he was wheelchair bound and unable to express himself using words.  He was completely dependent upon whoever cared for him to meet his every need which included feeding him, changing his clothes and diapers, administering his medicines and taking care of his hygiene needs.

Over the last several years, he had two hip surgeries (his hips had been slowly dislocating) and a spinal surgery to correct a 60% curvature of his spine.  I had always been told by his neurologists that he would have a normal life expectancy.  Even with his disabilities, he was very quick to smile and knew as well as showed nothing but love.  He was so pure and innocent.  He was the best part of me and so easy to love.

This past weekend he had a seizure that was so severe that he was hospitalized and placed in ICU.  However, the next day he began stabilizing.  I thought that he would continue to recover.  That wasn't to be the case.  As he stabilized, he smiled his characteristic smile at everyone around him and we all thought that he would be transferring out of ICU soon.  Less than 24 hours later, he began seizing again and this time he did not recover.  Jaden began having seizure after seizure and the doctors and nurses were at a loss for words and could only offer to make him comfortable.  His brain slowly began to shut down and he was placed on hospice.  On the morning of the 15th of Sunday 2019, my 18 year old son passed away peacefully in his own bed surrounded by those who loved him.

Years ago we were able to purchase a funeral insurance policy and honestly I never even considered that it would be needed this soon in his life.  However, the amount is just enough to cover the cremation costs only.  Those of you who know me, know that I am from Ohio and all of my family members live back there.  The funds that I need help with are needed to arrange a memorial service for Jaden, so that my family in Ohio that loved him can say goodbye to him as well.  It feels awkward to ask for monetary help with this, however, I just want to be able to honor his life and spirit in the way that he deserves and am willing to swallow my pride in order to try to make that happen.  I literally have not one relative in California anymore and will be flying back to Ohio this Wednesday, so that I will have my family to help me get through this.

I am hoping to have the memorial service on Monday the 22nd of April in Cleveland, Ohio.  If anyone is able to monetarily help me properly honor his life, I will be forever grateful and in your debt.

Sincerely,
