Raise a PAW for Lani

When one of our tribe becomes ill, it is our duty to come together to support with love and strength. The old saying is, "It takes a village."  I recount the first time I met Lani her cheshire grin formed ear to ear and she leaned up against my leg and it was love.  Lani's favorite thing is to roam in nature and meander and sniff on great hikes and road trips.  She has the energy of a jack rabbit and moves like a pint sized race car, playing like its a full time job. 

She was diagnosed with:
Hemangiosarcoma is cancer of the vascular endothelium, or the blood vessel walls. It accounts for 0.2 to 3 percent of all canine tumors with a mean age at diagnosis of 9 to12 years.(1) Hemangiosarcomamost commonly affects the spleen and heart of golden retrievers, Labrador retrievers and German shepherds.

Her spleen was effected.  Now is the time to seek the best treatment for Lani and with that is having the best Doctors care for her. 

As you may know this is Sonny's service dog.  Not only is she the love of her community she is the greatest love of her family.
