Fighting For My Medication Rights

Donation protected
Hello, My name is Alicia Almeida I am a lupus survivor. for years I was having to take over 35 pills a day to help with the pain and lack of appetite due to my disease. That was until I was able to qualify for a medical marijuana card. Before starting medical marijuana I was nearly addicted to oxycodone and had fallen all the way down to 85 lbs (a very unhealthy weight for me). I felt like I couldn't kick the nausea and was constantly in pain. Now I can eat, can exercise, and can live a fairly normal life.Over a year ago I made one of the biggest mistakes of my life and was arrested for driving while under the influence. Because of this I have to take random drug screenings to test for alcohol and marijuana. Since I need the marijuana to eat and live a normal life I failed the drug screening. Even though it is legal in the state of Oregon I must now go to court to be able to still use marijuana for a medicinal purpose. I have a letter from the doctor saying that it is necessary for me, now I need to be able to hire a lawyer. I am asking that people consider either a small donation or sharing this on their facebook page.Thank you for your time. Alicia Almeida
