Rags of Honor Support

Donation protected
I founded Rags of Honor, a custom silk screen apparel company, when I returned from Afghanistan 5 years ago because too many veterans were ending up in shelters or under bridges.  This year 300,000 veterans will be homeless for at least one night,  and every day 22 take their own lives. Rags of Honor may the only thing that keeps one of these homeless veterans from doing the unthinkable.  The words homeless and veteran should never be used in the same sentence so I took my savings and started this company.  To date we have hired 71 homeless veterans making us the largest employer of homeless veterans in the country.

We need capital to pay off our machinery and to hire the many more veterans here in Chicago who are struggling.  I do not take a salary from this venture so every penny that comes in goes to run the company and hire more veterans in need.  We have seen it change dozens of lives since opening our doors, but we need help to keep the mission growing.

Our mission statement says it all: "They had our backs, let's keep the shirt on theirs."  Help us continue to provide this opportunity.
