 WOODBRIDGE, VA

As many of you know, early this morning, 7 April 2015, Bobby and Michelle Kalski and their three children, Dalton, Madison and Lauren lost their home of 12 years in a devastating fire.  While the family was not injured by this fire (Thank You, Lord!), they have lost ALL material possessions.

The Kalskis are amazing people and incredibly generous to their family, friends and community.  Now is the time for us to show them how much they are loved  and to help them with our own generosity.   Please donate whatever you can to help them through this difficult time and to get them back on their feet as soon as possible.

Thank you to everyone already for your thoughts, prayers, kind words and offers of help.

FROM THE KALSKIS:

To all of our friends, family and those that we don't know personally-

We are overwhelmed by everyone’s generosity! Words cannot express how much we appreciate everyone donating money to us. The week our house burned down was probably the worst week of our lives, but in some ways one of the best. The love and support we felt cannot be described. Knowing that there are so many people out there that care about our family is such a blessing. Please know that we truly appreciate it.

Someone posted it perfectly, "No words. Only love". That's exactly how I feel right now and I think probably how the Kalski's are feeling. There are absolutely no words that can explain how grateful we are. We have more than doubled our goal in under three days. Not only have our family and friends showed up, but people that do not even know the Kalskis personally are showing up. Our hearts are bursting with love for each and every one of you, whether we know you or not. I just wanted to thank everyone again. Your love and support is what is getting them through this and I will be forever grateful. Love you all!

As the sister of Michelle and Bobby and the aunt to Dalton, Madison and Lauren, I can not thank everyone enough!! You all don't know how much I appreciate you helping them out. Probably one of the saddest things I've seen is running up on my sister's house and seeing them standing around in their pjs , wrapped in blankets and wearing shoes from various neighbors, watching their house burn down. The support that you all have shown is easing this hurt for them and for that I will be forever grateful. I love you all so much and know that the Kalskis do, too.
