Help to Save Cork City. This GoFundMe is to support Save Cork City in their campaign to achieve sustainable flood protection for all of Cork. The campaign aims to educate on the viable alternatives for Cork that can protect the local economy, protect the environment and protect heritage and the well-being of citizens for a better future for Cork in line with similar European cities.
This Go Fund Me has been set up by John Harvey to fund-raise for Save Cork City and the Love The Lee campaign. Money raised here will be transferred to Save Cork City to help build necessary funds for this most important of campaigns for the future of Cork.
Save Cork City is questioning the commencement of the OPW Walls scheme in Cork on environmental and social grounds on behalf of all of us. Save Cork City are providing solutions for Cork in the form of academic reports and studies and make their knowledge public under the banner of their Love The Lee Campaign. They are supported by thousands of people in the city and online. The OPW would damage our beautiful city with the wrong kind of flood protection. Help to stop the Walls and protect Cork with a faster, better solution.
