HUMANITARIAN MONGOL RALLY

Donation protected
We are 3 students from EPFL in Lausanne taking on the Mongol Rally in the summer of 2019. In the first place, the Mongol Rally is an opportunity to make the world a better place. Every team raises a minimum of £1000 for charity, at least £500 of which goes to the official charity Cool Earth. We want to take it a step further and raise at least 2000€

WHERE IS THE MONEY GOING?

Cool Earth
is an environmental charity that works in partnership with indigenous communities. The charity only protects rainforests that without intervention would otherwise be destroyed within the next 18 months. Here are some official stats:
- 901.679 acres saved
- 216.402.960 trees protected
- 234.436.540 tonnes of CO2 stored
- 68.527.604.000 litres of water annually

Another cause that our team wants to contribute to is helping children with brain cancer through the
Khabensky Charitable Foundation.
- 20000 children already saved and cured
- Functioning work scheme expanding to reach out more areas

WHO ARE WE?

Andrey Piskunov, 24, is a mechanical engineering student at EPFL. He wants to open his full potential. His goal is to show that if even such seemingly difficult challenges as a 16000km trip in a 40 year old car can be overcome, then it means that together we can make a difference in our planet as it’s the only one we have.

Alex Shatskov, 25, is pursuing his dream to become an International Economist. In addition to his studies in Higher School of Economics of Lausanne, he wants to cross Europe all the way to Asia. Passionate about making the world a better place.

Daniil Morzhakov, 21, studies mechanical engineering at EPFL and has participated in 4L Trophy 2017 solidarity rally in Morocco. After getting hooked by the humanitarian rally concept, this time he wants to go BIG. Both in terms of help and adventure, this will be his greatest challenge to date. Since 15 years old  he has been  involved in continuous local solidarity projects and works.
