Help Me Treat Lyme Disease

$9,935 of $50,000 goal

Raised by 110 people in 18 months
I have been dealing with persistent Lyme Disease, Babesia, Bartonella & EBV for a very long time. I currently need money for housing food & medical treatment. I am living in a homeless shelter & it is the opposite of healing. It is unfortunately hellish living in a shelter & I need a healthier environment so that I have a chance to get well. I need money so that I can see a Lyme literate MD and pay for healthy food & needed supplements. My income is only $729. a month. I am on SSDI & not healthy enough to work yet. The shelter expects us to save for housing yet they insist we pay $270. a month to live here leaving no money for Lyme treatment.

Due to my illness my brain does not function well consistently. I would love to get my brain function back so that I can get my life back. Being in a shelter around drug addicts who are high on meth ect. & people heavily indulging in alcohol not to mention people fresh out of prison or with severe mental issues is extremely difficult for me with my present lack of normal brain function. There is constant drama here including violence. The police are here often. I need a healthier environment to heal in. Living here is incredibly oppressive.

I will be extremely thankful for any donations large or small. You will be helping me get my health & life back.

2:13 am & rather chilly in my moldy car. Still better than an abusive oppressive homeless shelter from hell.

I can't wait until 10:00 am when the temperature is suppose to increase 6 points.

Not much else to say currently.

I am so grateful for everyone who has shared and donated to my fundraiser! You definitely help me eat better than I would on my low SSDI income and EBT. Lyme disease sucks the numbers right off one's credit cards.

Thank you for listening & sharing my fundraiser and donating. Even five dollars can help tremendously.

Sometimes this life can seem like cruel and unusual punishment. Other times it is magical.

I just had a wonderful comfortable motel stay through a program for ten days due to health issues. I am incredibly thankful for ten days of feeling like a human again I was able to sit at an actual desk and do my artwork which was pure joy. What an incredible experience after not painting for months. That is the good news.

The bad news is it has been colder here than normal here with rare snow on the mountain tops and tomorrow my ten day motel stay is over and I move back into my moldy mechanically challenged Jetta.

The ten day motel stay program I was in states in it's glossy brochure that 76% of its clients achieve permanent housing. I would love to know how that happens because I am in the percentage that received zero help in that department. Oh wait maybe they expect us to use Ritter House for housing help.
Now that is a truly bad joke unless you are the scary person at the bus stop or a known long term addict or bat shit crazy there is no housing help in this county. Use a taser against all the rules at the local homeless shelter and bingo you get housing. If you are 64 and have Lyme and all kinds of co infections too bad suck it up. If you have a home Jewish Family Services has a Seniors at Home program. Homeless they have very few resources for you yet my caseworker there tries to help. Catholic Charities thankfully gives out sleeping bags.

The way people without homes are treated in Marin & Sonoma Counties is inexcusable.

I am hoping to eventually get a home even if I have to build one out of Lego pieces. When I do get a roof over my head I plan to become an advocate for the homeless. I want to help improve the shelters in Marin & Sonoma Counties which are dangerous oppressive abusive & in the darkages. My friend Brenda was beaten to death due to shelter negligence. You don't toss a drunk person out of a wet shelter at night with one leg because "rehab is full". The shelters hire some real mental giants and Homeward Bound is all about the money and makes residents pay $270. a month for the abuse. What a deal. I only got food poisoning there twice involving ER visits IVs and a catscan.

Anyway so much for my tale of living the American Dream in California I just want to say I appreciate everyone of you who has donated to my fundraiser and or shared it on Facebook in the past. Without your generosity I would not eat at times. EBT and my low SSDI income goes only so far in Western World. I am currently broke and probably will not have any money until Friday.

If you do care to donate there are faster ways to get money to me than super slow Gofundme. Please ask me how.

Thank you for reading this far!!!
Thank you to all the kind generous people who keep me going.
Being sick and poor is beyond depressing at times.

Love,
Marjorie

I am incredibly thankful to kind caring people during this rough patch of my life. I am grateful for people who take the time to open up their hearts & share and or donate to my fundraiser. May your generosity be returned 100 fold in a waterfall of continual blessings & miracles in your life.

Homelessness can create a cycle of despair & your support has helped carry me through this not that I don't cry in my car often.

My goal especially after my friend Brenda an awesome homeless person with one leg was beaten to death needlessly due to negligence is to be an advocate for the homeless & to shift this negative equation into a positive one for all humans so that they can be comfortable safe nurtured and yes housed! The oppression & abuse currently going on in the Marin & Sonoma County shelters needs to be flipped into love support nurturing and true care & respect for all humans. May it be so!

Thank you so much for your support & donations because with my 2001 old Jetta with mechanical issues and bumper falling off issues and medical and car insurance bills I am constantly behind on my bills due to limited SSDI income. Homelessness is a vicious cycle that I pray ends soon with a happy ending for ALL of us.

I am confident that once I have manifested a roof over my head I l will create more income with my artwork ~ jewelry designs watercolors and photography.

I wanted to add I find
B12/B Complex injections helpful for mental well being and energy levels. I get mine through a grant at the B Bar at Pharmaca yet you can get an Rx if approved by your MD & do them at home.

TCM Acupuncture has been greatly helpful too especially after being rear ended by a large truck while parked.
If GoFundMe is not convenient in Box me to find out easier ways to donate to me. Thank you!!!
Love,
Marjorie

I walked/bashed into a plate glass window last night injuring my nose neck and the back of a leg... it threw my whole alignment off. Today my bumper on my 2001 Jetta which was originally hung too low at the factory in Mexico is now hanging off my car precariously. I feel like being in survival all the time is one shit show after another with addicts I met in the gross disgusting homeless shelter always trying to get something.. I need to clearly stop listening to their line of sob story and focus on myself & learn better boundaries.

In the mean time I wasted money renting an AmpCoil for $225. for a month with someone who did not want to share amicably.

I am learning lots of lessons and yet broke as ever and behind in my car insurance. Incredibly tired of living in survival and allowing toxic addicts to get my energy I need to focus on myself.

I am attempting to learn better boundaries after not knowing the first thing about them as a child.

Many lessons to learn right now none of them easy... oh well I am trying and feel like I have a super messy life to clean up after losing my brain to a pesticide exposure and Lyme in 2012 and recovering it with CBD in July 2018.

I am so thankful and grateful for those who have stood by me and shared and donated to me so I can eat because SSDI and EBT are not enough to get by on even in Peru not that I live there.

Thank you!
