"What If" A new short film

A new short film which tells the story of Phil, a normal hard work detective who through a simple life choice and against his better judgement dabbles in and then soon becomes addicted to crack cocaine then heroin.  As his life slowly spirals downwards we focus on the affect it has on his work, family & children, friends and those closest to him. What If... a film about the life long consequences of a split second decision. What if.... You say no You walk away What if you don't...? The overriding message is that this can happen to anyone! The message we want to send out is that the split second choices we make in our lives can have a profound affect on those around us leading to destruction and carnage. It will be a stand alone fictional dramatic piece that we aim to screen on the festival circuit in Ireland and beyond but also look to have it screened in secondary schools and anti drug meetings and seminars. We aim for the film to have a final running time of around 12 - 15 minutes. The funds will be used for principle production and mostly post production costs as we aim to make it as real and as eye opening as possible.
