Quest for the Best 2016
Donation protected
Since its inception in 1992, the Sigma Sigma Sigma Foundation has dedicated itself to scholarship, leadership development, and philanthropy. Our philanthropic focus is children's play therapy, which helps chronically ill children in hospitals to better understand their treatments, develop socially, and most importantly, have a dedicated space to play and have fun in an otherwise stressful and scary environment. To date, the Foundation has donated over $3 million to support children's play therapy programs across the nation and has helped fund play therapy wings in hospitals in North Carolina, Texas, and Colorado.
This year, the Alpha Delta chapter at Drexel University will be hosting our third annual Quest for the Best to raise money for the Sigma Sigma Sigma Foundation. This Amazing Race style scavenger hunt across Drexel's campus tests competitors mentally and physically, and has helped our chapter raise over $11,000 for the Foundation so far! Last year alone we raised over $7,500 and this year our fundraising goal is $8,000. Your generous donations will help support the Sigma Sigma Sigma Foundation, thereby helping sick children across the country reclaim their childhood, one treatment at a time.
