It's that simple.
Our neighbors should never go hungry. But they do. Every day. The least we can do is come together as a community and be sure there is a turkey on every neighbors' table this Thanksgiving.
The Queen City Saints Annual Turkey Drive is taking place in Burlington, Vermont on Sunday, November 18th. The Intervale is hosting us, American Flatbread Burlington Hearth is feeding us, Mirabelles and Lake Champlain Chocolates are treating us to sweets. Heritage Automotive Group will transport all of the donated birds from the event to the Food Shelf... All you have to do is come flip us a bird!
The 'bird drop' will take place from noon-2pm. Of course, if you can't be there in person - please, please consider donating here. Your $20 donation will be converted into a turkey for a hungry neighbor OR your $200 donation will be converted into ten turkeys... you get the idea. Our goal is to raise 600 birds and ensure that our local food shelf doesn't fall short of their Thanksgiving goal.
