La Société Blues Montréal parraine à nouveau un groupe qui participera au Défi International du Blues à Memphis, en Janvier 2020. Nous avons besoin de votre aide pour assumer la plus grande partie des coûts pour ces musiciens. Le IBC est le plus grand rassemblement au monde de l'industrie blues. C'est la vitrine parfaite pour démontrer le haut calibre de la scène blues québécoise! Par le passé, des artistes comme ceux-ci ont représenté le Québec et ont profité pleinement de l'expérience et de la visibilité:
Michael Jerome Browne, Steve Hill, Guy Bélanger, Dawn and Paul (finalistes), le gagnant de la deuxième place en 2016 Paul DesLauriers Band, le gagnant de la première place en 2017 Dawn Tyler Watson avec le Ben Racine Band, Angel Forrest, qui s'est rendue en finale en 2018, et l'année dernière Justin Saladino Band.
Cette année, le gagnant du concours Québec à Memphis, Catégorie Band, est Fuel Junkie. Ils se rendront à Memphis en 2020 pour représenter la Société Blues Montréal .
Les fonds recueillis serviront à financer les frais de déplacement, d’hébergement et de repas des musiciens participant au voyage, et iront directement à Fuel Junkie.

The Montreal Blues Society is once again sponsoring a group to go to the International Blues Challenge in Memphis in January 2020. We need your help in defraying as much of the costs as we can for these musicians. The IBC is the largest annual gathering of the blues industry in the world, and is a great stage to showcase the immense amount of talent on our Quebec blues scene. In the past, artists like these have represented Quebec and have thoroughly enjoyed and profited from the experience and the exposure:
Michael Jerome Browne, Steve Hill, Guy Bélanger, Dawn and Paul (finalists), second place winner in 2016 Paul DesLauriers Band, and first place winner in 2017 Dawn Tyler Watson and the Ben Racine Band, Angel Forrest, who made it to the finals with her band in 2018, and last year Justin Saladino Band.
This years winner of the Quebec to Memphis contest, Band Category, is Fuel Junkie. They will be heading out to Memphis in 2020 representing The Montreal Blues Society.
The funds raised will be used to help subsidize travel, lodging, and meal expenses for the musicians involved in the journey, and go directly to Fuel Junkie.
