Quadriplegic Seeks Help to Purchase Wheelchair Van

We are experiencing a need for Alison. As you probably know Alison was paralyzed in an accident over two years ago. She has a spinal cord injury which resulted in quadriplegia. This week the motor blew up in her transport van for the second time since it was purchased. It is in poor condition and she now has to purchase a new van. This transport van is important as it accommodates her motorized wheel chair and prevents her from having to be transferred to and from vehicles that aren't equip for her motorized wheel chair. Without her van, she has an increased risk of injury and falling as the transfer process is difficult. It also results in her having to use a smaller standard wheelchair that she is not able to maneuver on her own and does not have the proper safety belt to keep her safe.  She needs a transport van for many reason, but the biggest two are to transport her to therapy and her doctors appointments. She is also very social and her friends and family mean everything to her. She loves traveling with her family and going places with her friends. Not having a van to get her places has really hurt her spirit. However, she does not stay down for long, as she persists, is hopeful and never loses her faith and good attitude.  I hope you all will be able to help Alison, even if it is the slightest contribution, as anything is greatly appreciated and not only means a lot to Alison but to her entire family and all her friends! <3
